Going on the Air

| Getting on the air took a lot of planning and work with the FCC and other government agencies as well as construction work at the transmitter site during the fall and winter of 1964 and spring of 1965. The transmitter was on Paradise Ridge, East and about a thousand feet above the U of I campus. The studios were already developed and being used for closed circuit classes and student training This section is divided into the activities associated with the above five buttons. Inside each section are subsections.
